This is one of the better projector mounts on the market and a great value for the price. It’s made of steel and is very sturdy. It includes everything you need in the box including varying sizes of mounting screws for the projector, hardware for mounting to the ceiling, drywall anchors, plastic feet for recessed mounting screws, allen wrenches, etc. It took me less than an hour to mount this on my ceiling.
I have an Epson Home Cinema 400 projector and my main problem was finding a mount on the market that could handle the wide width between the mounting screws ( ~13″ apart diagonally). This mount provides 4 different lengths of mounting leg sets (2 each for a total of
that should fit most projectors. I needed another set of the longest legs so I called the Atdec customer service number. They immediately sent them to me in the mail for free!
The minimum drop from the ceiling on this model is 15.7″ so if you have 8 foot ceilings, this may hang the projector too low in your room. Mine sits about 4-6 inches above my head when I walk below it. It doesn’t bother me but if that bothers you, there is another a similar model (Atdec TH-WH-PJ-FM Telehook Universal Projector Flush Mount) that only drops down 5.5″.
Overall, this is a very good projector mount and should have all the features you will need for your projector.

I used this to mount my projector to my vaulted (angled) ceiling. It uses a clever radial design that should allow you to use it with just about any projector. Screwing it into the rafters, I’m confident that it could hold more than the specified 33lbs. (I wouldn’t recommend exceeding the limit if screwing into drywall or masonry)
You may find it difficult to route cables through the tube if they have ferrite cores or large connectors. Also, some of the included bolts weren’t of the highest quality (heads not perfectly square, etc).
Overall I’m very satisfied with the projector mount. It was pretty easy to install and it’s very stable.

We got this mount to go with an Epson PowerLite 77c 2200 Lumen Multimedia Projector. Set up was very easy with plenty of hardware for different environments and needs. We needed the extension so we could mount it to the cement ceiling over 2′ above the ceiling tiles. The hollow post allows for at least some cable management. It was easy to adjust for the specific projector (though if you have a decent spatial/mechanical sense you may find it preferable to avoid the instructions for centering the projector on the mounting bracket.)
The mount is well made, sturdy, easy to set up, and adjust. We’ll be buying more of these for other classrooms over the next year.

I purchased the ceiling mount with the extended arm. The first thing that impressed me about this product was the strength/thickness of the steel/metal used. it is very thick and heavy duty, not the cheap thin stuff. I liked that it is white and not black like most other products I saw. It also came with every possible screw and bolt you would need, even providing a selection of multiple sized fasteners to fit any projector. I bought it because it looked (and is) really heavy duty and it has the very useful bracket that can mount on an angled ceiling. (I use this to swing it up against the ceiling when not in use.)But, I don’t like that fact that it is metric. I wish America would just go metric and be done with all these incompatiblities! Fortunately it comes with a nice hex wrench but should I loose that, I don’t have a metric hex wrench set. (I installed a cabinet door magnet on the ceiling to hold the hex tool so it stays up there with the projector in case I need to make adjustments). I also liked the product because there was obviously a wide range of height adjustment with the extension arm. The one complaint I have is that there is still some play in the arm no matter how much I tighten those bolts. For such a solid product, its ironic that there is a wobble where the extension rods connect. A thinner metal would squeeze together more and create a tight joint but the metal is so thick, it doesn’t budge and a small gap remains. This has not affected its performance during normal use, but you do feel the “play” whenever you adjust it and thats just my pet peeve.

I bought this for use with a Mitsubishi HC1500 720p DLP Home Theater Projector. It works like a champ. My only criticism is that when all the bolts are in place, there’s still movement in the extension pole. The movement is slight, but noticeable if you touch the projector. Good deal for ~$80, great deal for the $40 I paid for it after rebate.

This is one of my favorite tools! In the past my husband would have to come to the school with a ladder and hang 2-3 paperclips with string, then move the ladder and go back up again. I can take the hangler down and move it to another place in seconds. My kindergartners saw me use the tool once and want to know when they can watch me move the hangers again. I’m purchasing my second “Put-Up” because someone borrowed it and liked it so much that they kept it!
